What to expect from your spa experience

Each treatment is tailored to your skin on the day and delivered using professional grade products. Every spa facial includes a full consultation and massage, so you leave feeling refreshed inside and out.

Most clients notice an immediate improvement in glow and hydration after one facial, and long term skin goals build with a course of treatments. For general maintenance, every 4 to 6 weeks is ideal. On a corrective skin plan we may recommend more frequent sessions at first, with DMK facials every 2 weeks during a course.

Getting the most from your facial

Before you come in and aftercare

Facials need very little from you, and a few small things help the results last longer.

Before you come in

Come as you are. Makeup is fine, as your facial begins with a proper cleanse.

Tell us about any medication, retinoids or active skincare you use, and any skin conditions, so we can tailor your facial safely.

Rest strong actives such as retinoids and acids the night before, so your skin is calm on the day.

Aftercare

Let your skin enjoy it. Where you can, leave makeup off for the rest of the day and let your skin make the most of the products.

Keep skincare gentle that evening, and give retinoids, acids and exfoliants a rest until the next day or two.

Wear SPF daily. It protects your fresh glow and every result we build with your skin.

Drink plenty of water, and skip saunas, steam and intense heat for the rest of the day.

Skin does its best work with rhythm. A facial every four to six weeks keeps results building, and we will recommend homecare that suits your skin.

What is the difference between a spa facial and an advanced facial?

Spa facials focus on relaxation, hydration and general skin health using gentle, nourishing products. Advanced facials use specialised techniques and formulations, like enzymes, peels or microneedling, to target specific skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation or ageing.

Will I see results after one facial?

Most clients notice an immediate improvement in glow and hydration after one facial. Long term skin goals typically build with a course of treatments, and we will always guide you through the best plan for your skin. A course lets you see progress and results that, when maintained, can last a lifetime.

Can I book a facial if I have sensitive skin?
