FAQS
For acne-prone skin, we recommend DMK Enzyme Therapy or targeted skin treatments such as skin peels and LED therapy. These facials work below the surface to address congestion, inflammation, and oil production. We tailor every treatment to your skin’s needs after a full consultation.
Yes, regular facials can significantly support the skin’s ageing process. Advanced options like microneedling and enzyme therapy boost collagen production, improve skin texture, and help reduce fine lines. Spa facials also nourish and hydrate the skin, making it appear plumper and smoother.
A course will enable you to start seeing progress and results that when maintained can last you a lifetime. Although we will tweak the frequency based on your goals, be prepared that we may need to see you every week or other week for 6/7 treatments, after this initial course we would then consider monthly maintenance.
Absolutely. We offer a wide range of facials suitable for sensitive skin types, including calming options from Germaine de Capuccini and barrier-repair focused treatments. Your therapist will help you choose a treatment that soothes and strengthens your skin without irritation.
During this time, you may feel a pulsing sensation – this is the effect of the enzymes at work as they help circulate blood and oxygen through your cells.
Over the course of your treatment, the mask will set hard and you’ll feel your skin actively tightening, you won’t be able to talk easily, and you may feel some downward pressure and this can feel strange. Your therapist will be in the room with you the whole time. These facials are treatments in every sense of the word – they are not for a “bit of pampering” they are for clients who want results.
The best way to find your match is to book a skin consultation. We’ll assess your skin, talk through your concerns, and recommend the ideal facial based on what your skin truly needs. No pressure just personalised, honest advice.
More often than not the skin is often tighter and brighter with a lovely healthy glow. The plasmatic effect is likely to have subsided by the time you leave the clinic but it is an active treatment so it is normal to feel a little dry or sometimes tight after a session, especially early on in your journey, this is why it is so important to factor in a course of treatments. DMK is totally prescriptive and we will assess the skin at each treatment and look to build on previous treatments, this does mean your reaction to each facial could be totally different.
